Who is Solia Pro for?+
Solo beauty professionals — electrologists, lash artists, brow techs, estheticians, microblading artists, sugaring specialists, aesthetic nurses. Anyone who books clients one at a time and runs the business themselves.
Do I need to be technical to use it?+
No. If you can use Instagram and check your email, you can run Solia. The admin dashboard is built to be the simplest part of your day, not the hardest. We also walk you through every setup step that involves an outside service.
Can I use my own domain?+
Yes — and you should. Starter plans use a yourname.solia.pro subdomain (free), and Pro plans include connecting your own domain like yourbiz.com. You buy the domain in your name (~$15/yr) and we point it to your site. Takes about 5 minutes.
Does Solia handle payments?+
Yes. Stripe is built in — deposits, full payments, saved cards, refunds, gift cards, even loyalty points. You connect your own Stripe account so the money goes directly to you. Solia never touches your money.
What about texting clients?+
Solia includes two-way texting via Twilio. Clients can text your business number; you reply from your admin. We also handle automatic reminders, drip sequences for new leads, and keyword auto-replies (BOOK, PRICING, INTAKE, etc.).
Can I migrate from Vagaro / GlossGenius / Square / etc.?+
Yes. We can import your client list (CSV) and rebuild your services. Active appointments stay where they are until they're done — we just take over going forward. We'll walk through this on a setup call.
Do I keep my own data?+
Always. Your client list, your appointment history, your payment records — it all sits in your own Supabase database, in your name. If you ever leave Solia, we export everything to CSV and you walk away with it.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Month-to-month, no contract. Cancel from your admin and your subscription ends at the end of the current billing period. You keep your data and we'll help you migrate to whatever's next.
What's included in the design pass (Pro tier)?+
We customize your site's branding to match your business — logo, colors, fonts, photos, copy on the home/services/about pages. You give us your inputs (or we have a 30-min call), and we hand back a finished site usually within a few days.
Do you offer support?+
Email support on Starter, priority support (faster reply, less back-and-forth) on Pro, and white-glove onboarding (we set everything up with you live) on Studio.
How does intake work?+
Each client gets a passwordless portal where they fill out an intake form (medical history, treatment areas, allergies — fully customizable). Their answers feed directly into your appointment notes. You can edit the form template anytime from your admin.
Is my client data secure?+
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Supabase (our database) is SOC 2 compliant. The client portal uses passwordless email codes — no passwords to leak. Admin access is locked down with email + password, plus session cookies.
